At Matt’s Radiator, we don’t just fix radiators — we preserve history, one core at a time.

Recently, we had the honor of restoring a radiator from a 1952 Caterpillar D2 dozer, a rugged machine from an era when equipment was built to last generations. The radiator was completely rotted out, the fill neck was destroyed and unavailable anywhere — U.S. or abroad. But that didn’t stop us. We custom-fitted a new neck and cap, installed a brand-new core, and replaced every piece of hardware.

That job wasn’t just about parts. It was about respecting craftsmanship, honoring engineering, and helping our customer keep a piece of American legacy alive.

Why Choose Radiator Restoration Over Replacement?

🛠️ Replacement parts are often discontinued or hard to find — especially for vintage equipment and classic cars. We custom build and rebuild to spec.

💰 Restoration saves money — especially when new aftermarket parts are junk or don’t fit right.

🏁 Better performance — A freshly rebuilt radiator with modern materials will often outperform even the original.

🧰 It’s what we do best. We’ve been rebuilding radiators for decades, from tractors to hot rods, diesel trucks to daily drivers.

If you’ve got a classic that needs cooling system work, don’t roll the dice with just anyone. Bring it to Matt’s Radiator — where old-school service meets next-level craftsmanship.
